Almaden Valley Estate

Situated on the crest of gently sloping hillside, this contemporary estate overlooks the Almaden Valley. The curved forms of the house came about as a response to the clients' desire for ease of movement and flow inside.

The house is anchored by the three forms representing the major components of the house; a 4-car showcase garage, the great room, and guest bedroom quarters. They are linked together with free flowing curved forms that contain the supporting functions. A large sheltered deck with slide-away doors brings the indoor-outdoor together, and a roof top deck and studio reinforces the magnificent valley views.
