The Studio of LOUIE LEU ARCHITECT, Inc. was formed in 1997. With over twenty five years of experience, Louie Leu has built his clientele from the strength of personal relationships developed through successfully managed projects, and has worked with clients worldwide.
Projects include single-family custom homes, multi-family housing, university housing, multi-purpose social and dining halls, commercial office buildings, educational facilities, space planning, renovations and tenant build-outs.
The Studio maintains a collaboration with a core of multi-disciplined consultants including Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural Engineers to provide a comprehensive scope of design services.
The Studio’s staff includes Certified Green Building Professionals committed to the incorporation of “green” building technologies and smart solutions for building design.
Louie Leu, A.I.A., President
Louie Leu is the head of the studio and lead designer. He has been in the professional practice for over 25 years, including three years of architectural experience in Florence, Italy.
His experience includes a wide range of project types including single family custom homes, university housing, multi-family housing, senior housing, civic buildings, office/commercial, educational facilities, and tenant improvements. He has extensive expertise in all phases of project development ranging from programming, design, planning, and construction documents through administration of the construction process.
Projects include collaborations with the distinguished international architects.
He obtained a Bachelor of Architecture Degree with highest honors from the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA in 1982.

Architectural Project highlights include:
- Design Architect of fine custom homes throughout the South Bay, including Los Gatos, Saratoga, Monte Sereno, Cupertino, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, San Jose, Palo Alto, Redwood City and Atherton. Residential projects outside of the local area include homes in San Luis Obispo, Corralitas, and Belvedere, in California, and Vancouver, Canada.
